Hello and Happy Friday! Today I learned that it’s World Photo Day. According to their website, “World Photo Day is an international photography event on August 19th that celebrates the passion for photography in our communities.”
Now, I am by no means a photographer. I’m not even sure if I should call myself an amateur photographer. I just enjoy taking pictures (mostly of my pets), so I usually keep my phone handy. But on occasion, I do break out my real camera and take a few shots.

Ross and I spent the day in Los Angeles yesterday, first attending the Best Friends NKLA adoption event, which happened to be located fairly close to the Griffith Observatory. We had tried going to the Observatory once before, but we weren’t able to find parking that day. Yesterday was a pretty hot day, and we were dressed appropriately to park and walk up the hill to the Observatory. It’s been a while, but I’m back in the blogging world. I recently started a blog called Three Chatty Cats – with the goal to bring attention to great cat rescue groups and their life-saving efforts. If you’re a cat lover, you should go check it out.
